Nizar Bechara, CFII, MEII, ATP, Land and Sea, has been a professional flight instructor since 1978. With over 20,800 hours of total time he teaches because he enjoys teaching not just to build hours for another career. He has instructed more than 1500 students, in the United States and Canada, from fledgling to ATP, both in ground schools and flight training. He thrives on molding skilled and careful pilots at all levels. He understands the need for safety and knowledge having spent 15 years as a military fighter pilot and 7 years as a bush pilot flying in the backcountry of Canada. His love of teaching and care for others is expressed in his acting as Commanding Officer of the Civil Air Patrol Squadron based at Baltimore Washington International Airport. From introductory flights in a Cessna 150 to Instrument training in a Cessna 172 to unusual attitude training and aerobatics in his Zlin 242 he is never at a loss for passing his experience on to others. |
